Running on Empty

Jackson Browne 1978 - not my favourite of his, but a great songwriter.

Virus (again) - combination of overtraining in terms of intensity combined with looking down sick peoples throats all day has led to too many infections (more importantly my inability to learn from history and not reduce my training intensity)

Given the severity of my August infection and subsequent sinusitis, I'm going extra cautious - dont want to go back there again.

I was dreading to see that title.... Those nasty patients of yours are a real worry.
I suppose putting on a pest-doctor outfit would be frowned on at your place of work - but certainly improve your form!

Take it easy and keep well.

Sorry to hear you haven't been well, I had a feeling that may have been the case. That or you were to chicken to do the race on Sunday :)

Hope you recover quickly.

Cheers

good to see the healthy competitive juices are still flowing..I like the song titles theme...teachers get the same problem with catching a lot of stuff, but maybe not as much as Docs...at this rate youll be immune to everything on the planet, as you will have been "vaccinated" against everything...Hope you get well soon...

Getting sick while in training mode isn't good, it's hard to get motivated at the best of time with out getting crook.

Getwell soon Epi
